RE: Mentor/Volunteer Program
The Mentor/Volunteer Program is gearing up for another successful run. School is finally back in session and teachers are beginning to evaluate students to determine who will be involved in the Program.
The Mentor/Volunteer Program is designed to enrich the school experience for many youngsters in school who do not have the benefit of someone special outside the classroom to encourage and support them to be successful in school.
Volunteers commit to spending [Amount of minutes to volunteer] minutes a week, during the school day, with their students to read, draw, play games or just visit. Both the students and volunteers involved in the Program for the past few years found it to be very rewarding.
